12. Select YES and press ACT to verify insulin type. To change the
insulin type, select NO and press ACT, or press ESC to return
the INSULIN TYPE screen.
The factory setting for insulin concentration is U100u. U50u insu-
lin is currently not approved for pump use in the United States.

Selftest
Selftest is a safety feature used to make sure your pump is operat-
ing properly. This self-diagnostic feature can be used for mainte-
nance or to check your pump if it is operating in an unusual
manner. During selftest, your pump will automatically run a series
of internal tests, including checking the proper operation of the
beep and vibrate modes.
The pump also routinely performs a series of independent tests to
ensure that it is operating properly.
